“Hashem was in town last night and gave a great talk at CATFOA. Afterward, a few of us went out to grab a bite and chat. Somewhere over the course of the conversation, Dion brought up something he read or heard about how Mother London views the clients they aim to work with.
The thing he recollected was that they don’t look for cool brands to work on as much as they look for cool clients to work with. Meaning, no matter the brand, find a good person who wants to do great work. If it’s a cool brand, but a difficult client to work with, you’re going to struggle. Whereas if it’s a great client within a bit of a boring brand, you could just end up doing something surprising. Or something like that.
Anyway, I thought that was a good point and something worth sharing”.
